Worlds View: About 4 hours easy walking with very little
elevation. Spectacular 360° view at the end of the trail.
Langilabele / Bannerman: About 6 hours with a fairly stiff
climb towards the summit. This trail takes you round 600m up and you
should be used to walking before you start.
Lammergeyer Hide: Be driven early in the morning by 4x4 to the
hide to watch the vulchers feeding.
Main Caves: Very easy walk (45 mins) to the renowned
Bushman rock art site. There is a guided tour every hour on the hour. But
if you are a real rock art fan you must rather see what Kamberg has to
offer.

Sentinel overlooking Royal Natal and the Tugela Falls
There is only one place you can get to the top of the Drakensberg
escarpment and back down again in one day and that is at the Sentinel. The
drive alone is spectacular. The walk is 5 hours 2,5 hours each way. You
ascend the last 20 meters using a chain ladder and are rewarded with a
view overlooking the Royal Natal Reserve. Also you are at the source of
the Tugela river where it falls some 950m. 2nd highest in the world. |

Kamberg
The walk takes 3 hours there and back and is a little steep for
the last 15 minutes. The bushman rock art paintings are about as
spectacular as they come. There is an 20 minute information
presentation before you go which is very worthwhile and
professionally done. The guides are well informed and very pleasant
company. This is an experience you will remember. |

Fly-fishing opportunities in this region continue to increase rapidly as
is happening elsewhere in the country. We recommend Kamberg where day
permits are available. You can fish in any of the 6 trout dams or in the
river. |

White water rafting on the Tugela River
The major summer activity is white-water rafting, and
the most exciting time to do this is between November and May. The 30km stretch of river known as the canyon provides
some of the most thrilling white water in the country. The South African
leg of the Camel White-Water Challenge took place at Zingela and the venue
received rave reviews from participants and organisers. A wide choice of river-rafting packages is available -
from half a day to four days on the river. One man Kayaks, two man crocs
and eight man rafts are used on the river, in accordance with water levels
and the groups abilities. Safety is a priority, and all guides are trained by
SARA. No previous rafting experience is necessary.

Weenen Nature Reserve is about 40 Km from us. The reserve consists of
thornveld and savana with some spectacular views. You can expect to see
