Umsuluzi Riverside Lodge consists of 7 impeccably presented stone and thatch cottages set along the historic Bloukrans River, with the accommodation options of either fully-catered or self-catered units.
The
larger cottages have either twin beds or a double bed in the bedroom with an
additional two single beds in the living area. The smaller cottages have twin
beds. All accommodation options are located with a scenic view of the river
and offer bathroom en-suite, open plan living area and wooden sun decks and
private kitchenettes in the self-catered units.
In sharp contrast to the harsh landscape, the
central reception area at the Lodge is a haven of luxury, African style, with
thatch, stone and timber finishes to nurture the bushveld experience. 
Facilities
include an open air boma, a large sundeck and sparkling pool, a fully licensed
pub with satellite television and a first class restaurant serving three
full-course meals a day including morning and afternoon teas. In addition to
offering quality accommodation, the Lodge staff concentrate all efforts in
providing guests with a tantalising dining experience, including bush
settings. Wine and dine the evenings away beneath star covered skies and allow
us to assist in the planning of your following days enjoyments and activities.
Lighting in the cottages and Lodge consists of solar and paraffin lamps, ensuring the relaxed atmosphere and natural ambience of the bush experience. For a moment in time it is yours to relax and enjoy our personalised service and attention.
