Getting Here
Umsuluzi is situated on the R74 between Colenso and Weenen. From the N3 take the
fly-off (exit 194) (just north of Estcourt Shell Ultra City). Follow R74/R103
towards Colenso/Ladysmith for +-18kms then take off ramp to Colenso. At the stop
sign turn right (over R103 to Ladysmith) towards Weenen/Greytown. Follow road
for +-8kms (you pass the Thukela Biosphere Reserve "Umsuluzi Gate"
sign and cattle grid), the "Umsuluzi Game Park" entrance sign is on
the right. The roads are tar up to this point thereafter gravel. Roads can be
slippery when wet but assistance can be given if necessary. In the park the
camps are clearly sign posted.
